I enjoyed filming in AS media studies, filming our short film which our genre was horror, working in a team had its advantages our different ideas coming across to create a sequence and everyone had their own skills in film, which i enjoyed doing costume and make up. learning how to edit was exciting as i found i could see my ideas coming alive in the project, however i didn't have a big input in the editing as i was still new to it all this is what i want to focus on with this music video project.

When looking at music videos i like the video to contain a meaning and purpose, by relating to the song lyrics as well. I am very excited about making a music video as you can create your own ideas whilst getting ideas from other directors music videos which is common in the music industry that ideas are taken from each video or celebrities have been impersonated, for example Eminem is known for doing that. When looking at music videos i want to look at more Pop/rock genre like Wheatus- Teenage Dirtbag as he speaks about liking a girl who doesn't recognise him and this is something that our targeted audience can relate to, plus in the video they show all the teenagers dancing about which i really want to include in my video. Another video is Katy Perry - Last Friday Night which shows generations of time but showing how fashion is coming back from what our parents would wear (retro). I will find that doing costume and make up for a upbeat song will be fun and shows my personality as i am very creative.
